The newly introduced center column simplifies the process of setting up for observation, and it can effortlessly be exchanged with the included 3.25" short column. Whether using the standard or short column, the distinctive hollow ball eliminates constraints associated with a vertically fixed center column. A quick half-turn on the central locking lever provides the adaptability of a leveling head for shooting without compromising stability. The tripod is compatible with any of our tripod heads, available for separate purchase. The Backpacker UL has achieved an almost flawless design, catering to a wide range of tripod needs.
