The Hornady Lock-N-Load Bullet Comparator Body and Inserts is designed to measure rounds from the ogive, ensuring consistent and precise measurements. Attaching easily to the blade of your caliper, the Bullet Comparator employs interchangeable inserts (available in sizes from .17 caliber to .45 caliber) for measuring from the bullet ogive. When used alongside the O.A.L. Gauge, the Bullet Comparator achieves the pinnacle of precision measurement. It effectively aligns the O.A.L. Gauge for precise measurements using a caliper, allowing for direct comparison of your loads as you set up your bullet seating die, considering any selected bullet free-travel (jump).
